Siobhan Connor

Siobhan Connor is MD of Connor PR, founded in 2012. Her clients include Comic Relief, Sport Relief, Emma Bridgewater, HomeSense, TK Maxx, Carrie and David Grant, Criminologist and TV presenter Mark Williams-Thomas, Only Roses, Tembe DIY , Katy Rink, author of Managing MIL and psychologist and author, Sarah Rozenthuler. With an exceptionally strong success rate at winning pitches, Siobhan’s professionalism and experience are evident in the projects she masterminds and the creative team she leads.

Siobhan trained as a journalist and started her career in regional radio, before moving into television production where she worked for LIVEtv, LIVING, Channel 5, BBC and ITV. From her years working in television and radio, Siobhan established excellent contacts with the national and regional press, as well as with on-screen talent.

Siobhan left ITV in 1999 to become Director of Media & PR for Fleetwood Owen, an online auction house founded by Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac. This was based in the UK and US and in 2001 she organised a simultaneous live broadcast from the Hard Rock Café in London to the Hard Rock Café in New York, for the sale of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ Steinway piano, bringing both the Internet and live auction environments together.

Siobhan joined Taylor Herring PR as an Account Director in 2002 where she has been responsible for devising and executing media strategies for a diverse roster of clients, ranging from prime time TV shows, celebrities and charities to corporate clients and consumer brands.

Siobhan has been the creative mastermind behind some of the most talked about publicity campaigns and stunts of the last ten years and set up the Events and Lifestyle division.

Kate Taylor

Kate Taylor has worked as a copy writer and editor for 15 years, working on a wide range of material including books, magazines, national newspapers, corporate content, press releases, web content and official documents.

Clients include: United Nations (UN), The Sunday Telegraph, Disney, Help for Heroes, Purdey, Franklin Watts, Scholastic, Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, Heinemman, British Gas, Honda, Marshall Cavendish, Epilepsy Action, We Are What We Do and The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).

In addition to writing and editing, Kate is experienced in proofreading, brand development, commissioning, web development and project management.

With a creative background and experience of working in New York, London and Rome, Kate is a valued member of the team with an impeccable reputation as a writer and editor.

Louise Acton

louise-acton-webLouise Acton is Connor PR’s Consultant Creative Director. She has a 15-year track record in Public Relations encompassing the corporate and consumer sectors and has worked for some of the world’s most highly regarded PR Agencies including Burson-Marsteller and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Louise has a Degree in History from the University of Bristol and is an experienced Writer. She has worked as a Consumer Magazine Journalist for more than seven years covering the Arts, Lifestyle, Philanthropy, Society and Travel.

For several years, Louise worked as a PR Consultant for two high profile and privately owned family businesses operating in the Property, Tourism, Technology and Aviation sectors. Consequently, Louise has experience ensuring PR adds its value to the marketing mix.

Louise’s focus at Connor PR is conceiving and delivering an integrated communications approach to a Client’s reputation, brand and business needs.

This includes opening up opportunities for strategic associations and marketing partnerships, to creating and delivering ‘talked-about’ about launches and events, in addition to the quality and high profile media campaigns for which Connor PR is renowned.

Martin Worster

Martin Worster was a music journalist for ten years writing for NME, dotmusic, Music Week, Muzik and News International.

As a very early adopter of internet technology, Martin has a deep range of experience in web production and content, social media, brand development, digital imaging and photography, blogging, project management, music and video delivery, email marketing and e-commerce.

Clients include: Smirnoff, Guinness, Euro RSCG, Ministry of Sound, Data Records, Richer Sounds, Credit Web, Pure Groove Records and XL Records.
